About Marianne Scherb
A recent Pennsylvanian transplant, I graduated from Albright College in May 2016 with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and in May of 2018 with a Master's of Science degree in Education. In December of 2017, I obtained my Level 1 Teacher Certification from the state of Pennsylvania. I am excited to work with Secondary School students and introduce them to the world of Biology.
I have grown up with teaching in my blood. From teaching Kung Fu for individuals ages 4-21 to working as a Section leader in my High School Marching Band, I have always been teaching. My vision is to have the classroom become a community, embracing all individualities and backgrounds.
The following portfolio follows Danielson's Framework for Teaching using her domains as section titles. Within each section are articles that best fit each domain. Please feel free to look through all the tabs and files.
I started playing the flute in fourth grade and continued my passion through my college career. During High School was when I learned how to play the piccolo. This image shows myself with some of the band members at an Albright football game, performing for the team.
I had the opportunity to go to Bear Creek Camp on more than one occasion while at Albright College. On both trips I was able to study the ecology of the area and take part in field research.
